ABOUT US

Now is the time for something different.

The Green People arose in response to the contested 2023 national election and deepening economic crisis. We aim to unite Nigerians across regional, ethnic and religious lines to heal national divisions and restore faith in democracy.

The Green People aims to unite Nigerians around shared values of integrity, justice and opportunity for all.

We are an independent grassroots movement not beholden to any special interests. Our goal is to mobilize citizens to become the leadership Nigeria deserves and inspire a new generation of leaders to step forward.

The journey begins with you. Join the movement and become the leader Nigeria needs. Together, we can put Nigeria back on the path towards national renewal.

Integrity

We reject corruption and self-dealing by leaders. Good governance requires leaders who serve with honesty and accountability.

Justice

All Nigerians deserve equal rights and opportunities. Government must work for the interests of the people who rely on them to make the country work.

Unity

Nigerians have more that unites than divides us. We embrace our diversity while affirming our shared citizenship. This calls for unity in all that we do.

OUR APPROACH

The Green People seeks to enact gradual reform through ethical, lawful means. We believe sustainable progress requires incremental steps, not overnight revolution.

Our strategy involves:

Grassroot Inclusion

We are an inclusive, grassroots movement not beholden to any political party, special interest or ethnic group.

Non-violent Advocacy

We aim to win hearts and minds through nonviolent advocacy, public education, and community organizing.

Gradual Reform

We seek gradual reform not overnight revolution. Sustainable change requires incremental progress.

Leadership Development

We develop future leaders equipped with ethics, civic knowledge, and public service skills.
